What is EPGP? Its a new stlye of loot distriubution that rewars effort (EP) with Gear (GP). The system may be a bit hard to grasp, but fundimentally it is very easy to both run, and to take part it...easy as in no effort from anyone but the guild leader, and even that is mainly handled by an add-on.

Below will be the official ways to get EP, but first I thought I would give a quick break down of what it all means. Basically attending scheduled raids (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) will reward you with EP. aproximately about 12,000+ a night. These EP aren't spent like a regular DKP system, they do however degrade. Currently it is 7% every time the server resets, so every Tuesday. Everytime you get a piece of gear the value of that piece is added to the GP. Better the gear, the higher the GP value. Finally to determine your loot prioirty you take the EP devide by GP and this come out to a PR (Priority Ratio). Long and short. If everyone attends 2-3 times a week, the loot distribution will be even across all regular raiders. "But I don't make every raid." Well if you are in this group you are in luck. They system will allow you to get loot, and with a reasonable priority, however what it does do is prevent someone who attends once or twice a month from getting all the gear because he/she has lucky rolls when in attendance.

Current Reward System for EPGP.

• Raid and standby get the same EP including bonuses.
• 1000 EP per 15m while in raid or standby for a raid.
• Bonus EP points to the raid and standby when execution of boss fights is perfect.
• 50 EP per boss wipe
• 100 EP per Defeated Boss
• 500 EP per Completed Instance.
• 1000 EP rewarded for being online and present for raid at 9 pm Tues, Wed, and Thurs night. This EP will be rewarded even if a raid does not occur. A ready check will be performed at 9 pm and EP will be rewarded to everyone in raid who is present for the ready check. Invites for the raid will be available starting at 8:50
• 1000 EP for 100 gold deposit into guild bank(only once per week) send gold to Hotabank.(Guild Repairs will likely be turned back on because of this.)

In the past I mentioned that Morash was the first in guild to recieve the BROKEN HILT! (dramatic voice used there) Well we now have a second, and this is her tale.

Tharcy, if you don't know her, is a gentle and kind priest. She is always hitting the potty, and will on the off chance get a little turned around when out adventruing. Well one time when she was a bit lost she ended up in the Pit of Saron. This is no place for a preist to be, but she had help. Morash, recently returned from his own epic adventure, and a few others...none of them Slambag. They were casually slaughtering there way through this new found area, well new to Tharcy, when she happened upon a broken hilt. "what a useless piece of crap" said Slambag, who wasn't there nor was he helping, but Tharcy felt the draw of strong magic from this discarded relic of the past, and choose to keep it.

What Happens to our Lovable priest next? We will have to wait and see.

Yesterday Patch 3.3 went live, and after a bit of server shakiness we entered the new Frozen Citadel on 25 man. After a few wipes on trash, Note CC caster = win, we made our first attempt on Lord Marrowgar, hence known as Our Bitch. Our bitch put up a solid challenge, breaking spikes, dodging fires, and avoiding the whirlwind kept things hectic, but fun. on our 5th attempt we got him down to about 3% or so. The GBU smelled blood, and we liked it! A slight adjustment here and there and 3 attempts later we were divvying up the loot.

We learned a few things in this fight. First, and probably most importantly Our Bitch seems to have a soft enrage at about five percent life remaining. At this point he one shotted all three tanks. He hit them all for about 100k damage. I can't heal through that, and I guess neither could the other healers. After this, we kited, and Nuked. Healing at this point was useless, as everyone was one shotted, so I dropped some DOTS, and lightning bolted my ass off. You can see the movie in our movies section!

On a special side note, we also had our first drop of Battered Hilt. Congratulations to Morash on this. I will keep you posted has he progresses through this quest chain.

The website has a new look and feel. I am a coder, and was wasteing piles of time trying to get the old site to look good, and failing. I would rather spend my time creating interesting content, and tools for people visiting the site to use. I want to thank Blizzard for providing the web kit which I used for the graphical layout to the site. Things on my to do list are;

• Create a Login.
• Move content from static HTML to a database or XML.
• Create the Movie player page.
• Create a tool to allow contributors, when logged in, to add content to the page, and upload images, and video.
